HOMESTEAD — About a year and a half after construction began, Homestead Station, a 65,000-square-foot complex with a movie theater, bowling alley and transit center, will celebrate its grand opening this weekend.

The massive facility is located along Krome Avenue in downtown Homestead.

A year and half after construction began, Homestead Station will have its grand opening from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26. The complex will have movies, bowling, an arcade, a transit center, retail shops and dining and signifies the first public-private partnership toward further revitalizing the city.
