On Saturday, the Washington Nationals hit the streets of Washington, D.C., for their World Series parade, and with the Commissioner’s Trophy in tow,

Thousands flocked to the National Mall to follow the parade route that began on Constitution Avenue and ended on Pennsylvania Avenue near the U.S. Capitol. Along the way, fans tossed beer cans to players, coaches and staff riding in the floats. 

The parade concluded on a stage for a team rally, where members of the team addressed the fans. Some highlights from the day:
