It’s a no-brainer for the coronavirus-social-distanced, financially collapsing reality the world is living through now: streaming video on demand is the last big entertainment sector of the economy still thriving.
With most people at home with little to do but watch stuff on their personal screens, services such as Netflix, and its sister streamer Hulu, Amazon Prime Video and their smaller competitors are now vital instruments for keeping humanity sane. Or, at least, distracted and hopefully amused.
